If your plumbing problem is urgent, calling is the quickest way to get hold of me.
This is especially important if you've got:
A burst pipe
A serious water leak
Water coming through a ceiling
An overflowing toilet
Water causing damage
A plumbing problem that can't safely wait
What happens after I contact you?
Keeping it straightforward
1. You tell me what's happening
Call me or send an enquiry with a few details about the job.
2. I'll get back to you
I'll ask any questions I need to understand the problem and work out what is required.
3. We'll work out the next step
Depending on the job, that might mean arranging a visit, discussing a repair or working out what needs to be supplied and installed.
4. I'll explain the work
I'll tell you what I've found and what needs doing.
Where possible, I'll explain the likely cost before carrying out further work.
Where I work
I'm based in Cornwall and mainly cover Mid Cornwall.
I regularly work in:
Newquay & surrounding area
Padstow & surrounding area
Rock & surrounding area
Wadebridge & surrounding area
St Merryn & surrounding area
Bodmin & surrounding area
St Austell & surrounding area
Truro & surrounding area
Redruth & surrounding area
I also take some jobs further afield depending on the location, type of work and availability.
What can I help with?
I deal with a wide range of domestic plumbing problems and installations.
General plumbing
Leaks, taps, toilets, valves, pipework and general repairs.
Bathrooms
Toilets, cisterns, showers, baths, basins, taps and wastes.
Kitchens
Sinks, taps, wastes, washing machines, dishwashers and pipework.
Hot water
Domestic hot water plumbing, water heaters, cylinders, valves and associated pipework.
Radiators
Radiator installation, replacement, valves, leaks and pipework.
Blockages
Blocked toilets, sinks, wastes and common domestic drainage problems.
Emergency plumbing
Burst pipes, serious leaks, overflowing toilets and other urgent plumbing problems.
Holiday lets and property managers
Looking after a property in Cornwall?
I also work with holiday-let owners, holiday-home owners, landlords and property managers.
If you're not permanently based at the property, having a local plumber you can contact when something goes wrong can make life considerably easier.
I can help with both planned plumbing work and urgent problems.
A few things that can help
If you're contacting me about a particular plumbing problem, a photograph can be useful.
For example, a photo of:
The leaking pipe
The toilet or cistern
The tap
The shower
The radiator
The plumbing underneath the sink
The appliance connection
The affected area
It won't always tell me exactly what's wrong, but it can give me a better idea of what I'm dealing with.
